Todd Eldredge

1997 World Championships

On March 19-20, 1997, Todd attempted to defend his World title. After placing second in the short program (and placing first with three judges), Todd singled his second triple Axel in his free skate after skating a flawless program up to that point. He tried to change his double Axel (the final jump, at the end of the program) to a triple Axel, but fell. Todd won the silver medal.
